Consumer attitude toward online finance in 20 countries worldwide 2023
Consumer attitudes toward online and mobile financial services varied greatly across countries in 2023. According to Statista's Consumer Insights, Finland had the highest share of the population who could imagine dealing with their financial transactions exclusively online (46 percent). On the other hand, Brazilian respondents were the most likely to deal with their finances exclusively via smartphone (48 percent). When it comes to confidence in handling personal finances, India had the highest share of respondents (35 percent) who felt that online financial services increased their confidence in their own finances.
