Share of people using mobile phones in Nigeria 2023, by type
As of 2023, 93 percent of the population in Nigeria owned a mobile phone of some type. More than half of these users used a basic mobile phone, accounting for 51 percent of the total users. Smart and feature phone users reached 27 percent and 15 percent respectively in the same year.
