Great Britain: kids smartphone ban opinion among parents 2024
According to a survey of mobile users in Great Britain, as of April 2024, 38 percent of respondents reported they would be opposed to a possible ban on smartphone ownership for kids. Among parents, 52 percent of respondents that had children aged between 11 and 15 year reported they would oppose such a ban, while 43 percent of respondents with children under 11 years of age felt the same. Overall, approximately three Britons in 10 reported they would support a smartphone ban for younger users in the country.
