Main methods to retain women in financial leadership roles in the UK 2023
According to a survey carried out in 2023, 71 percent of the respondents shared flexible working options as the primary method their organization had done to retain women in financial leadership roles. 65 percent of the participants identified an open and honest culture, along with strong anti-harassment policies, as the second most significant strategy employed by organizations to keep women in financial leadership roles. According to the survey, 47 percent of the participants stated promotion of opportunities and networks of support as the main initiatives their organizations had. In contrast, only 45 percent of the respondents stated that gender equal pay as an approach taken by their companies to retain women in financial leadership role.
