The statistic represents the degree of confidence Americans have that they, or their non-group health insurance provider, will be able to cover costs of a major illness or serious injury. The results show that 22 percent of people, with non-group health insurance coverage, are not at all confident that they or their insurance provider will be able to cover the costs of a major illness or serious injury.
