The largest age group consisted of resident that were aged between 50 and 54 years of age, at 4,632,000. In contrast, the number of 10 to 14 year olds was 3,625,100 (with a difference of 1,006,900). Further data regarding the regional population of England in 2015 there were 8.94 million British residents living in the South East of England, in keeping with information on population of British cities data shows that 8.7 million people lived in London in 2015, averaging a population density of 268 people per square kilometer throughout the UK.
