Global share of oil production 2022, by country
The United States supplied around 18.9 percent of the total global oil production in 2022. At that same time, Saudi Arabia accounted for 12.9 percent of the world's oil production. Nearly half of the world's oil demand growth is expected to come from China until 2035, however oil demand in the OECD countries is expected to decrease.
