Oil production in Brazil 2008-2021
Oil production in Brazil has been on a mostly upward trend for over a decade, reaching nearly three million barrels per day in 2021. This represents an increase of around 40 percent in comparison to a decade earlier. Petrobras, the national oil corporation, is by far the leading crude oil producer in Brazil, accounting for more than 90 percent of the national output.
