Forecasted retail e-commerce sales in Russia 2015-2018

This statistic provides information on the forecasted retail e-commerce sales in Russia from 2015 to 2018. The values do not include travel or even tickets. In 2017, retail e-commerce sales are expected to reach 26.88 billion US dollars and by 2018 they are forecasted to reach 30.91 billion U.S. dollars. When taking a look at a forecast of business to client (B2C) e-commerce sales in Russia, the expected value of B2C e-commerce sales in 2018 amounts to approximately 18.02 billion U.S. dollars and to 23.38 billion U.S. dollars in 2021. The leading online commerce segments by turnover in 2014 in Russia were household appliances and electronics, followed by clothing, footwear and computer, notebooks and computer parts. E-commerce retail sales are expected to increase in the years to come and in other countries such as China they made up as much as 19 percent of total retail sales in 2016 or 17 percent in the United Kingdom.
