High street retail footfall change monthly 2014-2017 statistic

This statistic shows the monthly percentage change in the number of visitors to high street retail environments in the United Kingdom (UK) from March 2014 to April 2016. Following the Christmas period in December, footfall fell by 20.6 percent in January 2015 before beginning to rise again in February. During November 2017, a period that sees the first Christmas shopping opportunities, footfall rose by two percent compared to the previous month.
