Phone use when driving: Important road safety issues in the UK 2009-2013
This statistic shows the frequency of both motorists and non-motorists to consider mobile phone without hands-free use while driving a key issue which needs to be dealt with to improve road safety in the UK, according to surveys carried out between November 2009 and July 2013. There had been a trend of increasing importance given by survey respondents between November 2009 and November 2011, however, by July 2013 this had fallen significantly.
