Hands-free phone use when driving: Important road safety issues in the UK 2009-2013
This statistic shows the frequency of both motorists and non-motorists to consider mobile phone hands-free use while driving a key issue which needs to be dealt with to improve road safety in the United Kingdom (UK) according to surveys carried out between November 2009 and July 2013. Even though this was not a particularly important issue for those surveyed in 2009, the percentage of respondents had decreased significantly by 2013.
