Nuclear energy consumption in selected European countries 2015-2018 This statistic shows annual consumption of nuclear energy in selected European countries from 2015 to 2018. Of the selected countries, France had the highest level of nuclear energy consumption at 93.5 million metric tons of oil equivalent in 2018, down from 99 million metric tons of oil equivalent in 2015. Nuclear energy consumption in Belgium increase from 5.9 million metric tons of oil equivalent in 2015 to 6.4 million metric tons of oil equivalent in 2018.
