This statistic shows the share of respondents who had been a victim of crime in the twelve months preceding the survey in Northern Ireland in 2015/2016, broken down by type of offence. Vandalism was the most common form of victimization with 2.2 percent of respondents reporting having suffered from deliberate damage to their property during the past twelve months. Roughly 2 percent of respondents reported being a victim of vehicle-related theft or the attempt thereof. While household theft and burglary were also reported by 1.7 and 1.4 percent of respondents, respectively.
