Financial complaints distribution regarding various products in the UK 2018-2019

This statistic illustrates the distribution of new complaints to the Financial Ombudsman regarding specific financial products and services offered by financial businesses in the United Kingdom (UK) in the financial year between April 2018 to March 2019. It can be seen that consumer credit products and services were the most complained-about product during this period, with 33 percent of all new complaints focusing on this aspect of banking businesses. A further 20 percent of financial-related complaints were regarding current accounts. Credit cards complaints completed the top three, with a share of seven percent of total complaints at that time.
