Finland: best-in-class investment strategy 2011-2015

The statistic shows the value of best-in-class investment strategy on Finnish ethical funds market biannually from 2011 to 2015. Investments in companies, that were leaders in meeting environmental, social and governance development criteria, amounted to approximately approximately 440 million euros in 2015, after recording a decrease from 2011 (nearly 25 billion euros invested).

For example, a portfolio manager might restrict the investable universe to the top 50 percent based on an ESG rating screen. Other Best-in-Class methods also exist (e.g. Best-in-Universe, Best-in-Effort)
