ESG integration in European ethical investments 2005-2017

The statistic shows the value of assets subject to ESG (environmental, social, governance criteria) integration strategy in Europe between 2005 and 2017. This investment strategy grew in its importance throughout the period. In 2013, ESG integration investments amounted to approximately 5.23 trillion euros in assets allocated. It decreased to 2.6 trillion euros in 2015, before reaching a value of 4.2 trillion euros as of 2017.
