Primary and secondary private equity buyout volumes in Europe 2009-2013

The statistic shows the development in the European private equity buyout volumes between 2009 and 2013. The increase in both primary and secondary buyouts could be observed between 2009 and 2011. As of 2011, the number of deals amounted to 866 for primary buyouts and 263 for secondary buyouts. In 2013 these figures decreased to 669 (primary) and 243 (secondary).
