The statistic displays the most active sectors in terms of private equity exit transaction numbers in Europe as of 2013. In that year, the industrials and chemicals sector dominated the market with 115 exit deals carried out, followed by technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sector, which recorded 108 exits.
