Average daily TV viewing time in Denmark 2007-2017 This statistic displays the average daily television viewing time in Denmark between 2007 and 2017. While Danish individuals spent more than 200 minutes daily watching television in 2010, the average TV viewing time decreased to 150 minutes as of 2017. The younger they were the less they have used traditional television; the linear TV viewing time among the group aged 19 to 34 years fell by 43 minutes in 2017 compared to the previous year. For comparison: 55 to 70 year-olds spent 8 minutes more than the year before. Watching online TV or other streaming services increased in the Nordic country; according to a different survey conducted in 2015, 16.8 percent of Danish respondents stated to have streamed movies, series or TV programs at least once a week - in 2014, the share was only 15.2 percent. Especially younger people tended to have used video on demand. Whereas 34.3 percent of 16 to 24 year-olds watched online videos once a week or more often, the share of individuals aged 75 to 89 years was merely 1.4 percent.
