Savings accounts opened without shopping around in the UK in 2014

This statistic presents the share of savings accounts opened after the account holder had gone directly to a familiar financial provider in the United Kingdom (UK), broken down by account type. According to a survey conducted in June 2014, every fourth (25 percent) of the easy access account holders, who had opened an account in the preceding year, had made this choice without any prior shopping around.
