Combined length of motorways in Austria 1990-2019
Austria's motorways have a combined length of 1,743 kilometers. The motorway network grew by some 300 kilometers between 1990 and 2018, but had six kilometers less in 2019 than in the previous year. Passenger cars are the most common mode of land transportation in the country.
