Health care expenditure in Spain 2009-2020 by sector
In 2020, the total health care expenditure amounted to around 122.8 billion euros in Spain. The public sector made up approximately 73 percent of the health spending in the country that year, with about 90.3 billion euros. Meanwhile, the private sector health care expenditure reached roughly 32.5 billion euros, a decrease compared to the previous year.
