National health expenditure in Spain 2009-2020
The national health expenditure in Spain has been increasing in recent years. In 2020, the total health spending in the European country amounted to approximately 122.8 billion euros, up from around 115.5 billion euros reported a year prior. Compared to 2009, health expenditure increased by nearly 23 percent. That same year, the Spanish public sector spent roughly 90.3 billion euros on health care.
