HFC emissions from plastic products manufacturing in the UK 1990-2017
This statistic shows the amount of hydro-fluorocarbons (HFC) emissions attributable to the manufacture of plastic products in the United Kingdom (UK) from 1990 to 2017, in thousand metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e). It shows that HFC emissions increased over the years, particularly from 2000 to 2005 when emissions went from 53,600 metric tons of CO2e to 373,900 metric tons of CO2e. In 2017, HFC emissions reached 470,500 metric tons of CO2e.
