Footwear and leather goods: quarterly sales volume index in Great Britain 2015-2020

This statistic shows the quarterly trend in the retail sales volume of footwear and leather goods (quantity bought) in Great Britain from 1st quarter 2015 to 4th quarter 2020. Overall sales generally fluctuated over this period of time, peaking at 112.6 during the third quarter of 2019. After experiencing a sharp decline in the second quarter of 2020 when coronavirus measures were in place, sales volume increased again and registered at an index value of 91.7 in the last quarter of 2020. The figures are seasonally adjusted estimates, measured using the Retail Sales Index (RSI) and published in index form with a reference year of 2018 equal to 100.
