Books and newspapers: sales value quarterly index in Great Britain 2015-2021
In the period between the first quarter 2015 and second quarter 2021, the quarterly trend in the sales volume or amount spent of books, newspapers, and periodicals (quantity bought) in Great Britain have generally decreased, and fluctuated significantly after the first quarter 2020 . The figures are seasonally adjusted estimates, measured using the Retail Sales Index (RSI) and published in index form with a reference year of 2018 equal to 100.
