Book readers in Italy 2020, by format
In 2020, 37.2 percent of book readers aged six years old or above read print books, and 73.6 percent of respondents per 100 persons who had read print books in the last year reported that they read print books exclusively. Audiobooks were the least popular format with less than two percent of readers engaging with the format.
