Average household average disposable income in Sweden in 2017, by household type The annual average household disposable income in Sweden reached 474.3 thousand Swedish kronor in 2017, the highest value during the period starting in 2011. However, the average disposable income varies a lot between the household types, from almost half the amount up to more than the double amount.
Highest average disposable income among cohabiting households with adult children

   The household type with the highest disposable income in Sweden in 2017 was the cohabiting couples with one or more adult children from 20 to 29 years. These households had on average an annual disposable income of 908.4 thousand Swedish kronor, which is more than double the average amount of the household disposable income in 2017.  

Single-person household had the lowest disposable income

   The household type with lowest average household disposable income was the single-person households without children. Their disposable income amounted to on average 246.7 thousand Swedish kronor per year. The Single-person household was also the most common type of household in Sweden in 2018, and the number of single-person households was around 1.8 million.
