The largest Swedish television company was Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT) in 2020, with a revenue of over 12 billion Swedish kronor. In May 2022, the company changed its name to Viaplay Group. Second was public broadcaster Sveriges Television, generating 4.8 billion kronor that year.
