Biofuels consumption for transport in Germany 2015-2020

Since 2015, Germany's biodiesel consumption for transport has continuously increased, reaching its peak at some 3.3 million metric tons of oil equivalent in 2020, making up the largest share of biofuels consumed. Bioethanol and biogas fuel consumption increased with some oscillation, amounting to 701.6 and 76 kilotons of oil equivalent, respectively in 2020.
