Sweden: biofuels consumption for transportation

Biofuels consumption for transport in Sweden peaked in 2017, with a total consumption over 1.6 million metric tons of oil equivalent. By 2021, figures decreased to some 1.5 million metric tons of oil equivalent. Nonetheless, biodiesel was the most used biofuel in the period of consideration, with over 1.3 million metric tons of oil equivalent consumed in 2021.
