Number of international arrivals in tourist accommodation in Poland 2011-2021

In 2021, the arrivals at tourist accomodations of foreign countries incl. hotels, holiday and other short-stay accommodation as well as camping grounds, recreational vehicle parks and trailer parks in Poland increased by 0.3 million arrivals (+13.27 percent) since 2020. In total, the arrivals at tourist accomodations amounted to 2.51 million arrivals in 2021. Nevertheless, the last two years in this industry recorded significant lower arrivals at tourist accomodations than the preceding years.
An arrival is defined as a person (tourist) who arrives at a tourist accommodation establishment and checks in or arrives at non-rented accommodation.
