This chart shows the number of racist crimes in Northern Ireland from 2016 to 2017, by age group of the victim. The highest number of racist crimes by a distance was recorded to be directed towards people aged 18 to 64. While only seven hate crimes against people older than 65 were reported, the number of offences against underage persons was found to be considerably more.
