US adults that trust their doctor in prescribing appropriate drugs, by gender This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted in the United States in February 2017, by gender. U.S. adults were asked if statements regarding trustworthiness of doctors in prescribing prescriptions appropriately applied to them. In total, 15 percent of women and 17 percent of men ask for alternatives to the drug being prescribed to them.
