Share of companies with product availability information online in Finland 2013-2018
This statistic shows the share of selected major companies providing information on product availability on their websites in Finland from 2013 to 2018. After remaining fairly stagnant from 2013 to 2015, the share of companies with product information on their websites more than doubled in the period of 2016 to 2017, amounting to nearly 50 percent in the most recent assessment period. As of 2018, nearly 60 percent of companies provided product availability information. By offering information on availability of products on offer, the seller (or shopping platform provider) lets the buyer know if an item is in stock, possibly in which quantities or sizes. In the case of unavailable product, sellers can inform the buyer on when it will be restocked.
