Argentina and Chile were the largest wine producers in Latin America based on the area dedicated to vineyards in 2022. Both these countries reported vineyard surface areas larger than 195 thousand hectares that year. Brazil followed, with 81 thousand hectares. By 2028, it is estimated that the size of the Latin American wine market will surpass 25 billion U.S. dollars.
