This timeline provides data on the end-of-period outstanding amount of international securities issued by public administrations in Italy from December 2016 to December 2020. According to data, the outstanding amount of international securities fluctuated significantly during the period under observation. In fact, after amounting to over 38.5 billion euros in December 2016, the outstanding amount of international securities dropped to just over 30 billion euros in September 2019. However, in the following year this figure increased again, reaching 45.4 billion euros as of December 2020.
