Italy: opinion on abolition of daylight saving time 2018
Summertime arrangements in the EU require that the clocks are changed twice per year in order to cater for the changing patterns of daylight and to take advantage of the available daylight in a given period. Between July 4 and 16 August 2018, the European Commission has carried out a survey among European citizens in which more than 80 percent of the respondents declared to be in favor of daylight saving time abolition.
