Mexico: value of remittances received in 2019, by state

In 2019, the Mexican states of Michoacán, Jalisco, and Guanajuato were the main destinations of remittances sent from abroad. Michoacán received almost 3.6 billion U.S. dollars in money transfers from foreign residents, whereas the value of remittances received in Mexico City reached about 1.7 billion dollars.
