This statistic displays the results of a survey on how high school people get tobacco products in Finland in 2016. At the time of the survey, 84 percent of respondents got their cigarettes through friends. E-cigarettes and nicotine liquids were most often bought by the respondent him/herself. The most common product to be purchased online were nicotine liquids. In Finland, the sale of tobacco for individuals under 18 years of age is prohibited. Similarly to strong alcohol, tobacco advertising is not allowed.
