Nuclear plants in France 2018, by location

This statistic depicts the number of nuclear reactors in France in 2019, by location. That year, Gravelines nuclear site hosted six nuclear reactors.
The oldest French nuclear plant in Fessenheim hosted two reactors. During February 2020, French government announced its will to dismantle the Fessenheim power plant. This started a huge debate in France and a few weeks later, the French public auditing commitee (La Cour des comptes) released a statement, warging against unavoidable costs from a nuclear phase-out too executed too quickly.
