Chile: rice production volume 2013-2020
Chile produced close to 170 thousand metric tons of rice during the 2019/20 crop year, down from almost 175 thousand metric tons recorded during the previous crop year. This is the second consecutive yearly decrease in rice production in the country. Similarly, a decline was also registered in the planted area of rice in the South American country.
