Incidence rate of absolute poverty in Italy 2010-2020, by age group

In 2020, 10.3 percent of people in Italy aged 18 to 34 years were living in absolute poverty. Between 2010 and 2020, the incidence rate of absolute poverty in Italy increased considerably. In particular, the youngest population made up the largest percentage of people living in poverty.
Figures about the poverty rate broken down by gender show that percentage of male population living in absolute poverty was slightly higher than the percentage of female population.
