Geox worldwide revenues 2019, by product

In 2019, the revenue of the Italian fashion company Geox stemming from footwear registered a value of 721 million euros, accounting for 89 percent of the company’s total revenue. The remaining ten percent originated from the company’s clothing line. The company’s revenue increased significantly over the last few years, growing from 559 million euros in 2014 to 806 million euros in 2019.

 Geox: Italian footwear 

Founded in Italy in 1995, Geox designs, produces and distributes Geox-brand footwear and apparel. Its main feature is the use of innovative and technological solutions that guarantee comfortable and fashionable products. The company became very popular due to its patent and advertising campaign “the shoe that breathes”. Due to its success, the company expanded its business outside of Italy and counts over five thousand employees and 454 single-brand Directly Operated Stores (DOS) worldwide.

 Europe as main market 

  Thanks to an extensive network of stores, Geox distributes its products worldwide. Despite a gradual expansion in America and in Asia, the company’s main market remains Europe. In fact, Geox’ sales in Europe (Austria, Benelux, France, Germany, Great Britain, Iberian Peninsula, Scandinavia, and Switzerland) amounted to approximately 344 million euros in 2019. In the same year, sales in Italy reached about 228 million euros. Thus, the two markets combined accounted for over 70 percent of the company’s sales worldwide.
