Electricity transmission, distribution & metering average price in Italy 2016-2022

The average price for electricity services was 2.7 euro cents per kilowatt-hour in Italy in 2022. Distribution accounted for the largest share of this amount, and cost almost 1.7 euro cents per kilowatt-hour. Electricity services' prices peaked in 2021, but the cost of distribution dropped in 2022. On the contrary, the price of electricity transmission increased compared to the previous years.
