
Urbanization in the ASEAN countries 2021
This statistic shows the degree of urbanization in the ASEAN countries in Asia from 2011 to 2021. Urbanization is defined as the share of urban population in the total population. The ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries are Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. In 2021, 24.67 percent of the total population of Cambodia lived in urban areas.
