A positive value means a trade surplus, a negative trade balance means a trade deficit. The ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries are Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. In 2019, the trade surplus of goods in Brunei amounted to about 2.12 billion U.S. dollars.
