Instagram user share in Lithuania 2023, by age

Individuals aged between 25 and 34 made up the largest share of Instagram users in Lithuania, at nearly 34 percent as of February 2023. In terms of gender distribution, women outnumbered men across each age category.

Instagram's popularity in Lithuania

The total number of Instagram users in the country reached nearly 997 thousand in February 2023. That marked an increase of nearly 98 thousand individuals compared to the correponding period of the previous year, when it was measured at approximately 899 thousand. By 2028, the number of Instagram users in the country was forecast to equal to 1.15 million.

Growth of Instagram globally

Instagram’s user base is on the rise around the world. In December 2021, two billion people were using the service. That means that the number of Instagram's audience saw a double growth in the period between June 2018 and December 2021. Instagram’s growth is partially fueled by its value as a social media marketing tool. In 2021, sports brands uploaded the highest number of posts to the social platform, at nearly 14 posts per week.
