Number of newly registered electric vehicles in the Benelux 2018
This statistic displays the total number of newly registered electric vehicles in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg in 2018. As of 2018, the Netherlands had approximately 29,000 newly registered electric vehicles in 2018, whereas Belgium had roughly 13,500 registrations. Looking at the types of electric passenger cars in the Netherlands, the number of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) amounted to 98,217, whereas there were approximately 21,000 battery electric vehicles.
